Who it shuts out
The drifting, mismatched motion of parallax makes people with vestibular disorders dizzy or queasy — the same inner-ear reaction as the autoplay video. And when a section only appears once you scroll to it just right, people using a screen reader or keyboard can pass straight over it and never know it was there.
